If you write in fandom, you know the ones I'm talking about. The fics that turn your gears, keep the bar high, give you new ideas about plot and style and characterization. There is not a lot that these fics have in common, other than wonderful writing and all having Spike and Buffy in them to some extent, but RL has been very busy this last year, so I don't have any nicely-sorted-into-category type lists to offer. If I get time I will try to pop back with some more lists.
